A Private Educational Association in the Texas Hill Country.

“Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility—these three forces are the very nerve of education.”

-Rudolf Steiner

PreK- 8th Education with

Kitchen & Farm

We are a PreK-8th grade educational program inspired by the principles of Waldorf education and enriched by our biodynamic farm and kitchen. Every day, we nourish our children with ancestral foods, fostering a deep connection to the land and promoting holistic well-being. Through this unique combination of academics and hands-on experiences, we cultivate a love for learning, sustainability, and healthy living that extends far beyond the classroom. Welcome to our community, where growth and harmony thrive hand in hand.

Education is an evolutionary process.

Living Oaks offers an environment that supports the magic of learning, creativity and being on the land. We aim to help uncover each child’s passions, broaden their minds, open their imagination and deepen unique spiritual connections to the animals and earth. Join us for a tour to learn about our program, community and Waldorf inspired curriculum.

OUR MISSION

Living Oaks seeks to teach children in freedom and offer space to blossom through a land based and spiritually centered curriculum inspired by the teachings of Rudolf Steiner.  Through collaboration with teachers, administrators, board of directors and parents, we offer education for free thinking individuals in the arts and sciences, world languages, mathematics, music, biodynamic farming, and sovereign living within a community system that will allow us to thrive as humans.

Kitchen & Farm Programs

Yes! We have a biodynamic farm and a state of the art kitchen program that serves snack and lunch to our students every single day…with veggies from our garden, eggs from our chickens, and locally sourced meats and dairy. Our students are fully immersed in the process of seed starting, gardening, harvesting and eating the delicious food that makes our kitchen and farm program so special.
